Monday...

I hate it when people say, "It's a typical Monday." What does that mean? What is "typical" about a Monday? Are they suppose to be crappy? Did those people have soooo much fun over the weekend that Monday is "typically" a let down?

I'm having a stressful Monday. Lots to do, not a lot of time to do it. Although I suppose if I was working on what I needed to instead of blogging, I would be able to get crap done.

I actually beat my head against my desk a little while ago.

One of my favorite sayings is, "Kids These Days." And to be honest - I have no idea why I say it. I don't even really understand what it means. I'm waiting for someone to call me on it. To say, "What about kids these days?" To which of course I will have no response. I don't even have kids so what do I know about about kids at all? I say, "Kids These Days" when I'm working with someone and I just can't get through to them. They don't listen, they talk over me, they don't understand that I actually just may know what I'm talking about. Apparently I think this is what "Kids These Days" do but I don't know for sure.

I better go - I need to "Get My Butt in the Buggy."

Stressed Out...

So......

If you are stressed out at work, you can go home and relax and if you are stressed out at home, you can go to work, keep busy and not think about whatever is stressing you out at home.

BUT....what happens when you are stressed out at home AND stressed out at work?

I guess you go to the Salty Dog.....

It's been a long time....

It's been a while since I've blogged - I started blogging back when it was new. I can't believe it's been 4 years since I started this and over a year since I last "blogged"....

So much has happened but it's probably best not to go back - but to go forward with more random thoughts that no one will read. If no one reads this blog - does it exist?

Another question I have is this...how many times is "all the time." Recently when picking a place to go to lunch with two of my favorite people (and co-workers) I suggested a place and my co-worker said, "No, we go there all the time." I think we may have only been there 3 times in the past year - I don't think that is "All The Time." Any thoughts? How many times is "all the time" ???
